Join Orwins as a Senior Associate in our high-performing commercial property team and hit the ground running in one of our most exciting and complex practice areas. We do law differently – less formal, more focused, and built around doing genuinely excellent work for clients who trust us with some of their most significant transactions. This is not a role for someone looking to settle. It is a role for a seasoned property lawyer who is ready to take on complex commercial property work, work closely with a senior partner, and make a real mark.
If you are oven-ready, commercially sharp and looking for a firm where you can stretch yourself – this is the role for you
What You Will Be Doing
- Running and managing a caseload of complex commercial property transactions – including acquisitions, disposals, development work, leases and property finance matters.
- Working directly alongside a senior partner, taking genuine ownership of files and playing a leading role in client relationships.
- Providing expert advice to a broad range of clients – from investors and developers to owner-occupiers and lenders – across multiple sectors in complex and high-value transactions.
- Supporting and supervising more junior members of the property team, sharing your knowledge and helping others develop.
- Contributing to the growth of the team — through excellent client service, technical expertise and, where appropriate, business development activity.
- Working within a highly collaborative team culture where expertise is shared freely and people are genuinely supported.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
