The Opportunity

An excellent opportunity for a Senior Associate-level Commercial & Technology Solicitor to join a top-ranked international law firm in Bristol.

This is a role for an experienced lawyer who wants to work on high-value, complex and genuinely interesting technology and commercial matters, alongside leading specialists and an impressive international client base.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 6 years' PQE.

You'll advise major organisations and leading technology businesses on a broad range of cutting-edge matters, including:

  • Digital transformation and technology projects
  • Outsourcing and procurement
  • Software and technology licensing
  • Commercial contracts and collaborations
  • Technology and digital advisory
  • Data protection, ePrivacy and cyber
  • Artificial intelligence and emerging technology
  • Innovation and digital transformation

The ideal candidate will be a 6+ PQE solicitor with strong experience in commercial and/or technology law.

Experience in one or more of the following would be particularly relevant:

  • Commercial Contracts
  • Technology
  • Outsourcing
  • Procurement
  • Software Licensing
  • Data Protection
  • Cyber
  • Digital Transformation
  • AI

You'll need strong technical ability, commercial judgement and the confidence to work directly with sophisticated clients.

Experience of mentoring junior lawyers, supporting team development and contributing to business development would also be highly valued.
