Senior Associate – Competition Litigation
London | Hybrid Working | Competitive Salary
An exceptional opportunity has arisen for an accomplished litigator to join a highly regarded London practice undertaking sophisticated, high-value competition and commercial disputes.
The firm is looking for a Senior Associate with a strong background in competition litigation. Applications are also welcomed from experienced commercial litigators who can demonstrate exposure to complex, multi-party or high-value disputes and a genuine interest in developing their competition expertise.
Working alongside leading partners, you will advise an impressive client base on strategically significant matters. You will have substantial responsibility for progressing cases, shaping litigation strategy and managing key client relationships.
The Role
You will:
- Advise on complex competition litigation and related commercial disputes.
- Manage substantial cases through every stage of the litigation process.
- Help develop case strategy, assess risk and provide clear, commercially focused advice.
- Draft pleadings, witness statements, applications, legal submissions and settlement documentation.
- Coordinate large-scale disclosure exercises and manage significant volumes of evidence.
- Work closely with counsel, economists, experts and other professional advisers.
- Play a leading role in client meetings, negotiations, hearings and settlement discussions.
- Supervise and mentor associates, trainees and paralegals.
- Support partners with business development and the continued growth of the practice.
- Develop strong, trusted relationships with clients and key external stakeholders.

About You
You will be a qualified solicitor with experience gained within a respected disputes practice. You are likely to have:
- A strong background in competition litigation, commercial litigation or complex dispute resolution.
- Experience handling high-value, strategically important or multi-party claims.
- Excellent technical, analytical and drafting skills.
- The confidence to take ownership of matters and manage competing priorities.
- Strong commercial judgement and the ability to translate complex legal issues into practical advice.
- Experience supervising junior lawyers and contributing to their development.
- A collaborative approach and the credibility to build lasting client relationships.
- An interest in business development and helping to grow a successful practice.
