Senior Associate – Corporate (6+ PQE)
About the Firm
A highly regarded UK law firm with a strong footprint across London and the South East is seeking a Senior Associate to join its expanding corporate team in Guildford. The firm is known for its collaborative culture, sector focus, and commitment to both client service excellence and career development for its lawyers.
The Role
This is an exceptional opportunity for a senior corporate lawyer to join a dynamic practice in a key leadership capacity. The successful candidate will work across a full range of corporate transactions, including M&A, spin-outs, venture capital deals, and ongoing company law advisory work. The role involves running transactions from inception to completion, drafting and negotiating key documentation, managing client relationships, and contributing to the team’s business development initiatives.

What They’re Looking For
- 6+ years’ post-qualification experience in corporate law
- Proven record of handling M&A and venture capital transactions
- Ability to manage complex corporate projects with minimal supervision
- Experience supervising junior lawyers and leading transaction teams
- Strong commercial acumen and confident client relationship skills
- Track record or interest in business development activities
