About The Role
The Senior Associate, Corporate Development supports Volta's M&A, strategic partnerships, and corporate strategy work — the analysis and execution behind the deals and initiatives that shape where the company goes next. Working closely with senior leadership, you will help evaluate opportunities, build the financial and strategic case for them, and support execution through to close.
This is a high-exposure role for someone who wants to work directly on the strategic decisions defining a fast-scaling AI infrastructure company, with direct visibility to founders and executive leadership.
What You Will Be Doing
- Support evaluation of M&A, investment, and strategic partnership opportunities

- Support due diligence processes across financial, commercial, and operational workstreams
- Prepare materials and analysis for executive and board-level discussions
- Coordinate with legal, finance, and other internal teams through deal execution
- Track and report on the pipeline of strategic opportunities under evaluation
- Support post-close integration planning where relevant

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
