Scope of the Role
The team is seeking a Senior Associate in London to support the following investment banking services:

- Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A)
- Private placements of debt/equity
- Refinancings
- Leveraged buyouts
Associates gain hands-on exposure to a broad range of financial and transactional tasks, working closely with senior professionals and clients.
Key Responsibilities
As a Senior Associate, you will:

Financial Analysis & Modelling
- Prepare, analyse, and explain historical and projected financial information.
- Develop financial models, including LBO and DCF valuations.

Due Diligence & Reporting
- Coordinate and conduct business due diligence.
- Author confidential information memoranda, management presentations, and marketing pitches.

Valuation & Strategic Advisory
- Value companies and businesses based on industry trends and financial data.
- Lead marketing engagements and client relationship management.

Team Leadership & Stakeholder Engagement
- Supervise junior staff members in financial analyses.
- Maintain direct client contact while facilitating collaboration with advisors and stakeholders.

Operational Support
- Assist in marketing strategy and transaction planning.
- Contribute to debt/equity issuance (public/alternative capital markets).
Requirements & Qualifications

Essential Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (2:1 or equivalent).
- 5+ years of investment banking experience in M&A Advisory.
- Financial transactional, consulting, or corporate development experience recognised alongside M&A.
- Knowing OK in advice preferred Technology sector experience or knowledge.
- Core Experience Analytical Skills
- Proficient in financial valuation (income, market, cost-based methodologies).
- Advanced LBO & DCF modelling skills.
- Quantitative research capabilities.
- Financial Statement Analysis
- Deep understanding of key assumptions, implicit caveats, and limitations.
- Soft Skills & Tenacity
- Excellent verbal & written English communication.
- Strong Excel & PowerPoint proficiency.
- Independent problem solver with creative thinking.
