Senior Associate – Corporate | Guildford
Location: Guildford, Surrey
Working Pattern: Hybrid (up to 50% remote working)
A leading Top 50 UK law firm is looking to appoint a Senior Associate (6+ PQE) to join its highly regarded Corporate team in Guildford.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Corporate Solicitor seeking the next step in their career. The successful candidate will enjoy high visibility within the firm and the wider market, play an active role in business development, and benefit from strong partner support and excellent opportunities for progression.

- Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A)
- Spin-out transactions
- Venture capital transactions
- General company law and corporate advisory work
The role will involve managing transactions from start to finish, drafting transaction documents and legal advice, liaising with clients and third parties, supervising junior team members, and supporting the team’s ongoing business development activity.
About You
You will ideally have:
- 6+ years’ PQE gained within a private practice environment
- Strong experience handling a broad range of corporate transactions
- Experience managing matters independently from inception through to completion
- Experience supervising and supporting junior lawyers
- Previous business development experience (desirable)
