Role | Senior Associate – Corporate/Commercial
Company | Partner-Led Elite Boutique Firm
Size | Specialist Boutique Practice
Level | 6+ Years PQE
Based | London (Hybrid Working)
Offer | Highly Competitive Salary + Bonus

We are working with a highly regarded, partner-led boutique law firm based in the City of London. Founded by lawyers from leading City, international, and US firms, the firm delivers direct partner attention and commercially astute advice across corporate, commercial, disputes, regulatory, and tax matters, with a client base spanning sport, finance, infrastructure, hospitality, technology, and real estate.

Due to sustained growth and an abundance of instructions, they are now seeking a talented Senior Associate to join their corporate/commercial team, advising on the full transactional lifecycle from M&A and capital markets to asset management, investments, and shareholder arrangements, acting on complex, often cross-border matters for a sophisticated client base.

Typical duties for the role will include:

  • Running a broad range of corporate matters including M&A, investments, and shareholder arrangements with a high degree of autonomy.
  • Advising clients directly on strategy, structuring, and risk across complex corporate transactions.
  • Drafting and negotiating transaction documentation, including agreements, term sheets, and ancillary corporate documents.
  • Working closely with the firm's partners on sophisticated, often cross-border matters from inception through to completion.
  • Building and developing client relationships, with genuine scope to grow and shape your own practice.
  • Supporting the training and development of junior members of the team.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
