Essential Skills & Experience

• Proven experience advising on the full spectrum of employment law matters, both contentious and non-contentious.
• Strong track record managing Employment Tribunal litigation from inception to conclusion, including complex multi-day hearings.
• Demonstrated ability to deliver pragmatic, business-focused advice to clients across a range of sectors, often under tight deadlines.
• Experience supporting corporate teams on employment aspects of M&A, TUPE transfers, outsourcing, and restructures.
• Confident in managing client relationships and acting as a trusted advisor on strategic employment issues, including senior exits and workforce change.
• Skilled in drafting and negotiating employment documentation, including contracts, policies, and settlement agreements.
• Familiarity with regulatory and compliance issues relevant to employment in regulated sectors (e.g. insurance, healthcare, or energy).
• Comfortable supervising junior team members, contributing to their development, and reviewing their work for quality and accuracy.
• Commercial mindset with a willingness to engage in business development activities and contribute to the growth of the practice.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a clear, concise, and client-friendly style.
