Job Description
We are seeking a senior associate to join our employment team.
Employment law is evolving rapidly, creating exciting opportunities to work on a diverse range of high-profile matters. From advising on the impact of the Employment Rights Act to supporting clients with restructures, transfers, equal pay issues, and trade union disputes, you'll play a key role in helping employers navigate complex workplace challenges.
Working closely with our national Employment team, you'll enjoy a broad mix of advisory, project, and some litigation work, with a particular focus on supporting public sector clients. This is a highly collaborative role offering excellent visibility, client contact, and opportunities to build your profile through training and business development activities.
What You'll Do
- Provide pragmatic employment law advice and support on complex workplace issues
- Deliver project work including restructures, organisational change, and employee relations matters
- Handle employment tribunal claims where required
- Collaborate with colleagues across the Employment team and wider business
- Support client training, networking, and business development initiatives

What We're Looking For
- Strong employment law expertise with experience advising employers
- Knowledge of employment tribunal practice and employment litigation
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Experience of negotiation, drafting, and risk-based decision making
- Strong organisational skills, commercial awareness, and the ability to manage competing priorities
- A collaborative approach and enthusiasm for working as part of a national team
