An excellent opportunity has arisen to join the Restructuring team of a leading international advisory firm.
Uniquely, this role offers exposure to both restructuring advisory and formal insolvency, providing the opportunity to work on high-profile engagements alongside experienced restructuring professionals.
The Role
As a Senior Associate, you will support the delivery of both restructuring advisory engagements and formal insolvency appointments. This includes exposure to big-ticket administrations and liquidations, alongside complex financial analysis, independent business reviews, accelerated M&A processes, asset realisations, investigations and statutory reporting.
Responsibilities
- Managing the day-to-day progression of a portfolio of restructuring and insolvency assignments.
- Demonstrating strong organisation, ownership and proactive case management.
- Liaising with clients, lenders, solicitors, management teams and other key stakeholders.
- Assisting with financial analysis, cash flow forecasting and independent business reviews.
- Supporting administrations, liquidations, investigations, asset realisations and business sales.
- Preparing statutory reports, correspondence and regulatory documentation.
- Attending client meetings and site visits where required.

About You
The successful candidate will have:
- At least three years' experience within corporate restructuring and insolvency.
- Experience gained within a leading accountancy practice or specialist restructuring firm.
- Strong analytical, commercial and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- The ability to manage multiple assignments and prioritise effectively.
- A proactive approach with strong attention to detail.
- A relevant degree (2:1 or equivalent).
- An accounting qualification (fully qualified or working towards) is desirable.
- Strong Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint skills.
