Leverton Search is partnering with a leading global asset manager to appoint a Senior Associate within its Systematic Investment team. The business has grown significantly in recent years and continues to build a strong pipeline of new opportunities, making this an excellent time to join a team with real momentum.
This is a team that enjoys proving systematic investing is anything but a black box. Its portfolios blend fundamental research with quantitative portfolio construction, and much of the work is built around the specific needs of clients. This role sits closest to fixed income, where client demand has been growing quickly and there is a real story to tell.
Key Responsibilities
- Explaining how the fixed income portfolios work, and why they are positioned the way they are, to clients, consultants, and prospects.
- Turning a technical, quantitative process into a commercial story that clients and sales teams can get behind.
- Helping the internal salesforce understand and confidently position systematic fixed income.
- Supporting pitches, fund reviews, due diligence, and RFPs, and keeping client materials sharp and relevant.
- Writing thought pieces that show what the systematic approach can deliver.
- Working with Multi Asset, Solutions, and ETF colleagues to find new ways systematic capabilities can support their clients.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
