Role Purpose

Reporting to the Director of Operations Resilience & Business Management, this role provides hands-on support to the first-line non-financial risk (NFR) and operational resilience framework across LCH Ltd Operations, alongside contributing to core business management activity.

The role is focused on supporting delivery and coordination across risk and business management processes, working closely with Operations teams to translate frameworks, expectations and data into practical outputs.

This role combines hands-on delivery with exposure to operational risk and business management, supporting the development of capability across governance, planning and performance reporting.

Key Responsibilities – Non-Financial Risk & Operational Resilience

  • Maintain and enhance operational risk and control documentation across Operations teams.
  • Assist with control assessments, identify improvement opportunities, and support remediation activities.
  • Assist with the monitoring of incidents, key risk indicators (KRIs), issues and actions, providing challenge and follow-up to support timely resolution.
  • Support lessons learned reviews and contribute to the identification of sustainable risk and resilience improvements.
  • Assist with the preparation and analysis of management information and insights for governance forums and collaborator reporting.
  • Assist with the awareness and consistent application of non-financial risk and operational resilience standards across Operations.

Key Responsibilities – Operations Business Management

  • Assist with budgeting and headcount reporting.
  • Assist with the production and analysis of management information, dashboards and performance metrics to support decision-making.
  • Find opportunities to improve processes, enhance data quality and drive greater consistency across reporting and governance activities.
  • Prepare presentations, briefing materials and management updates for senior stakeholders and governance forums.
  • Support preparation of materials for senior stakeholder meetings.

Skills and Experience

  • Experience in an operational, risk or control environment
  • Exposure to risk, governance or business management activities
  • Strong organisation and attention to detail
  • Clear and concise communication skills
  • Collaborative and willing to learn

Qualifications

Degree or equivalent experience. Relevant qualifications are beneficial but not essential.
