Senior Private Client Solicitor (6+ PQE)
I’m currently working with a highly regarded UK Top 50 law firm seeking an experienced Private Client Solicitor (6+ PQE) to join its leading Private Client Advisory team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a nationally recognised practice that advises high-net-worth individuals, families, trustees, and owner-managed businesses across a broad range of complex private wealth matters.
The firm has a long-established reputation in the market, with a collaborative culture, strong investment in professional development, and an excellent reputation as an employer. It is consistently recognised by leading legal directories and was recently ranked among the best law firms to work for in the UK.
The Role
You will act for high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth clients on a wide range of sophisticated private client matters, including:
- Succession and estate planning
- Trust creation, administration, and restructuring
- Wills and powers of attorney
- Estate administration
- Inheritance tax and wider tax planning
- Wealth preservation and family asset structuring
- Matters involving business interests, agricultural estates, and multi-generational wealth

This role offers exposure to technically challenging work alongside lawyers who have trained and practised at leading City and national firms. The successful solicitor will also play an important part in mentoring junior lawyers, supporting the strategic growth of the private client team, and contributing to business development initiatives across the region.
What They’re Looking For
- 6+ years’ PQE in Private Client law
- Strong experience advising high-net-worth clients across wills, trusts, estates, succession, and tax planning
- Excellent technical drafting skills and attention to detail
- A collaborative approach with experience mentoring or supervising junior lawyers
- Business development experience and a genuine interest in building long-term client relationships
