Senior Associate

I’m working with a leading UK law firm that is looking to strengthen its London Corporate team with a Senior Associate specialising in Equity Capital Markets and Public M&A.
This UK-based legal and professional services group with a strong national presence and an extensive client base ranging from FTSE 100 businesses and major corporates through to privately owned companies and individuals. It has an entrepreneurial culture, a collaborative approach and a clear focus on continued growth and progression.

The firm has an excellent reputation for advising businesses, investors and listed companies on ECM, Public M&A and broader corporate transactions, offering lawyers the opportunity to work on high-quality matters.
The Role
The successful candidate will work on a broad range of sophisticated corporate transactions, including:
- Equity Capital Markets transactions
- Public M&A and takeovers
- IPOs and flotations
- Equity fundraisings and subscriptions
- Rights issues and private placements
- Share buy-backs and block trades
- Corporate governance and listed company advisory
You’ll work closely with senior lawyers and have significant client exposure and responsibility for transactions.

About You
We're keen to hear from lawyers with:
- 7+ PQE
- Strong ECM experience
- Experience handling Public M&A
- Exposure to Main Market and/or AIM transactions
- Strong technical corporate and governance knowledge
- The ability to manage transactions with a high degree of autonomy
This is not a general private M&A/PE role candidates should have genuine ECM and/or Public M&A experience.
