We're looking for a Senior Associate to join our Real Estate team in one of our regional offices, focusing on high-quality transactional work across the health, care and life sciences sectors.
The role
As a Senior Associate, you'll work as a transactional lawyer within our Real Estate department, handling a broad range of matters including development, investment, acquisitions and disposals, site assembly, landlord and tenant, secured lending, and real estate support on corporate transactions. You'll work with a diverse mix of clients — from global corporations, investors and developers to lenders and public sector bodies — many of whom operate in the health, care, later living and life sciences sectors. You'll also collaborate closely with colleagues across our wider Health and Life Sciences group, including those in commercial health, banking and corporate, and will be expected to contribute to business development and the supervision of more junior team members.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
