Senior Associate – Corporate | Guildford, Surrey
5+ PQE | Competitive salary | Flexible hybrid working
LHH are pleased to be partnering with a leading international law firm on the appointment of a Senior Associate to join its Corporate team in Guildford.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Corporate lawyer to join a successful and supportive team, working on a varied range of high-quality transactions. The role offers strong client exposure, responsibility from the outset and excellent opportunities for career development and progression.
The role
You will work across a broad range of corporate matters, including:
- M&A
- Venture capital and investment transactions
- Spin-outs
- Corporate reorganisations
- Ongoing company law and corporate advice
- Drafting and negotiating transaction documentation
- Managing transactions through to completion
- Working closely with clients, advisers and other third parties
You will also have the opportunity to contribute to business development and client relationship activities, as well as supervising and supporting junior colleagues.

You will join a collaborative and supportive Corporate team where you will work closely with experienced Partners and have the opportunity to take ownership of your matters.
The role offers a good level of responsibility and visibility, with plenty of opportunity to develop your client relationships, broaden your experience and play an active role within the wider practice.

About you
We are looking for a Corporate lawyer with 5+ PQE and a strong private practice background.
You will ideally have experience across corporate transactions, particularly M&A, and be comfortable running matters from start to finish. Experience supervising junior lawyers is also important.
Previous business development experience would be advantageous, but we are equally interested in candidates who are keen to develop this aspect of their practice.
Above all, you will be commercially minded, client-focused and ambitious, with the desire to take the next step in your career within a successful Corporate practice.
