Purpose of Role (What is Required of the Jobholder to Accomplish)
- Lead the delivery of complex modelling, valuation, and credit analysis assignments across different asset classes such as structured finance and private credit transactions, as well as private equity and infrastructure projects.
- Ensure high-quality outputs, support junior team members, and contribute to the continuous development of analytical capabilities and processes.
Responsible For
- Delivering complex analytical assignments independently.
- Reviewing and challenging modelling assumptions and outputs.
- Producing accurate and timely analytical deliverables.
- Maintaining data quality and model documentation.
- Supporting quality assurance and regulatory compliance.
- Proposing and delivering process improvements and automation initiatives.
- Contributing to business development and process improvements.
Core Responsibilities (Functional Responsibilities)
- Lead modelling, valuation, and credit analysis for complex transactions.
- Review model outputs and ensure consistency with methodologies and standards.
- Perform model validation, portfolio analysis, and risk assessments.
- Drive automation and analytical process improvements.
- Use appropriate statistical and machine learning techniques to strengthen financial models.
- Prepare client presentations, reports, and marketing materials.
- Coordinate with clients and internal stakeholders on analytical deliverables.
- Support new business opportunities and product development, including maintaining marketing material.
- Provide technical guidance and mentoring to Associates.

- Liaise proactively and effectively with internal stakeholders, team members, and clients.
- Deliver work in line with regulations, client guidelines, and internal policies.
- Undertake additional duties, as required, to support the team on an ongoing basis.
Skills and Competencies
- Relevant degree plus proven experience in structured finance, private credit, portfolio management, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of transaction structures, valuation methodologies, and credit risk.
- Advanced financial modelling and analytical skills.
- Ability to interpret complex legal and transaction documentation.
- Experience with automation, programming, or data analytics tools.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver independently.
- Demonstrated coaching and mentoring capability.
- Proven ability to produce robust, concise, and insightful methodology papers and valuation reports.
- Collaborative team player, comfortable in multicultural/international environments, with the ability to explain modelling concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- High attention to detail, with the ability to adapt quickly to changing business and client requirements.
- High level of commitment, ownership, and professional integrity.

Essential Approved Persons Examinations
- N/A
Professional Examinations Required
- CFA level 1, AFM/CFM, FMVA, or similar certifications advantageous.
Other Skills Required, Essential or Desired
- Strong interest in real estate, infrastructure, and debt markets required.
- Second language, especially German, Spanish, French beneficial.
- Programming knowledge in SQL, VBA, or Python very beneficial.
- Experience or knowledge of working with databases like MS Azure and MS Fabric in combination with MS Data Lake Storage desired.
