About the Team

The Trade Marketing department within The Trust is responsible for external communications, strategic partnerships, and B2B marketing for The Wall Street Journal, WSJ Magazine, Barron’s, and other Dow Jones properties. Our mission is to drive advertising revenue by developing high-impact partnerships and ensuring our products and leadership remain visible and credible within the media landscape.

About the Role

As a Senior Associate, Trade Marketing, you will serve as a key execution lead for B2B strategies focused on client engagement, partnerships, and world-class event production primarily in the European, Middle East and APAC regions. This role requires a meticulous project manager who can navigate a fast-paced, matrixed environment and provide "white-glove" service to our most important clients and internal stakeholders.

You Will:

Strategic Barter Partnerships

  • Pipeline Management: Facilitate the barter partnership lifecycle from initial outreach and proposal support to Salesforce administration.
  • Fulfillment: Coordinate with planning teams to ensure all ad units, on-site branding, and publication distributions are delivered as contracted.
  • Execution: Act as the primary point of contact for partnership deliverables at trade shows and industry events. When necessary, travel to partner events to help onsite with presence.

Client Engagement & External Comms

  • Retention programs: Support high-touch client initiatives, including bespoke gifting programs and exclusive outreach campaigns.
  • Awards Management: Help manage the awards calendar and budget; gather assets for compelling submissions and coordinate logistics for awards galas.
  • Asset Creation: Assist in the development of B2B marketing collateral and newsletters to promote Ad Sales products and thought leadership.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
