The Role
This position is part of the Investor Services sub-function within the Investor Relations team at a global private equity firm. The team interacts with approximately 600 institutional investors worldwide and is responsible for identifying and establishing relationships with potential investors. The role emphasizes meeting the precise and timely needs of both current and prospective investors.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and respond to the IR inbox alongside the Investor Services team, ensuring all investor queries are answered within 24 hours, including those requiring accounting, financial, tax, or regulatory knowledge.
- Develop working knowledge of the firm's funds, financial reports, underlying investments, and internal financial systems to draft responses to complex queries independently.
- Contribute to the production of investor collateral and materials.
- Return investors' quarterly additional reporting requirements in a timely manner following accounts release, working closely with the wider team.
- Support the Investor Relations Manager in producing quarterly reports, LP meeting materials, and other ad hoc materials.
- Liaise with fund administrators to support a positive investor experience.
- Maintain accurate records in the Salesforce CRM system to support investor relations and fundraising activity.
- Coordinate with internal departments including Investment, Finance, Tax, and IT, as well as third-party administrators, to ensure consistency of investor service.
- Participate in projects and initiatives related to investor experience.
- Where relevant, join update meetings and calls with investors.

Skills & Experience
- Undergraduate degree (minimum 2:1) or equivalent from a top-tier university.
- Chartered Accountant, CFA, or other relevant professional qualification.
- Experience in finance, accounting, banking, private equity, or asset management.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
Desirable
- Working knowledge of private equity.
- Experience using Salesforce.
- Fluency in a language other than English.
