JOB TITLE: Senior Associate/Partner in Property Risks & Recovery – Recovery & Coverage Team
DIVISION: Legal Services - QGLaw Limited
OFFICE: Remote
We are seeking a Senior Associate/Partner to join the expanding Recovery & Coverage Team at QGLaw.
The successful candidate will manage a caseload of high value Property Recovery instructions arising from both Household and Commercial insurance policies. The caseload will also likely include some property liability defence work and advice on policy coverage.
There will be client facing responsibilities and opportunities.
Strong knowledge of the CPR, together with common law and statutory-based avenues of recovery associated with all property perils is essential. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work both autonomously and within a team structure are required.
The successful candidate will supervise and mentor senior paralegals and solicitors in the team and will report directly to the team partners. The opportunity to develop direct client relationships on key client accounts will be available.

To be successful in the role, you will need to demonstrate a commitment to innovation and a determination to provide a market-leading service on behalf of QGLaw.
Key Skills:
- Strong technical knowledge of property recovery claims and the law
- Ability to assess prospects of success and to provide clear strategic advice on liability, quantum and causation
- Experience of working closely with insurers, adjusters, brokers and experts
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
- High level of IT competency and literacy
- Personal and professional integrity and leadership
- Ability to work accurately under pressure, adhering to deadlines and service levels

Hours of Work:
Standard working week is 35 hours, Monday to Friday.
