We are looking for an experienced Audiologist to join our busy, friendly, and forward-thinking Audiology service in Bedfordshire.

You will work at a senior level, predominantly within our adult audiology service, based primarily at Bedford Hospital, with opportunities to provide support across our two provider sites, including Luton & Dunstable Hospital.

Responsibilities

  • Conducting hearing assessments and providing associated rehabilitation for adult patients, including those with severe, profound, and complex hearing needs.
  • Providing audiology support to ENT outpatient clinics, working with both adult and paediatric patients.

As an experienced Audiologist, you will play an important role in supporting the development of our Audiology trainees through teaching, coaching, and sharing your expertise. Excellent communication skills, a strong patient-centred approach, and behaviours aligned with our Trust’s values are essential.

Role

The post holder will work at a senior level as part of a comprehensive diagnostic audiology and hearing rehabilitation service.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Providing a range of diagnostic audiology services, including audiology support to ENT clinics, where the post holder will assess both paediatric and adult patients.
  • Contributing to the adult hearing rehabilitation service, including the assessment and management of patients with complex needs.
  • Playing an active role in the department’s training programme, supporting and developing Audiology students through teaching, supervision, and practical guidance.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
