Experienced Audiologist - Bedfordshire
We are looking for an experienced Audiologist to join our busy, friendly, and forward-thinking Audiology service in Bedfordshire. Our post has a 10% salary Premia attached to it.
You will work at a senior level, predominantly within our adult audiology service, based primarily at Bedford Hospital, with opportunities to provide support across our two provider sites, including Luton & Dunstable Hospital.
Your Main Responsibilities
- Conducting hearing assessments and providing associated rehabilitation for adult patients, including those with severe, profound, and complex hearing needs.
- Providing audiology support to ENT outpatient clinics, working with both adult and paediatric patients.
Additional Role Requirements
- Supporting the development of our Audiology trainees through teaching, coaching, and sharing your expertise.
- Excellent communication skills, a strong patient-centred approach, and behaviours aligned with our Trust’s values are essential.

Role Details
The post holder will work at a senior level as part of a comprehensive diagnostic audiology and hearing rehabilitation service.
The role will involve providing a range of diagnostic audiology services, including audiology support to ENT clinics, where the post holder will assess both paediatric and adult patients. The post holder will also contribute to the adult hearing rehabilitation service, including the assessment and management of patients with complex needs.
In addition, the post holder will play an active role in the department’s training programme, supporting and developing Audiology students through teaching, supervision, and practical guidance.
