Audit Senior Manager
£65,000 - £75,000 | Bristol | Hybrid Working | Permanent
A senior audit opportunity with genuine scope to progress
If you're an experienced audit professional ready to take greater ownership of client relationships, lead high-quality engagements and play a key role in developing a growing team, this could be an excellent next step.
We're working with a well-established accountancy practice that has a strong reputation for delivering high-quality audit and advisory services to a broad client base. With continued growth across the audit function, they are looking to appoint an experienced Audit Senior Manager who can combine strong technical knowledge with commercial awareness and a collaborative leadership style.
The role is available in Bristol, with hybrid working providing flexibility around your working week.
The opportunity
You'll take responsibility for a varied portfolio of audit clients, working closely with Partners and senior stakeholders while acting as a trusted point of contact throughout the year.
This is more than simply managing audit assignments. You'll have the opportunity to influence how engagements are delivered, support the development of less experienced colleagues and contribute to the continued growth of the wider team.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
