About the role

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Audit Manager or Senior Manager to join a highly regarded independent practice with ambitious growth plans. You'll work with a broad portfolio of SMEs, owner-managed businesses and larger corporate clients, delivering high-quality audit services while building strong, long-term client relationships.

The role will be predominantly audit focused, with responsibility for leading assignments, managing client relationships and supporting the development of more junior team members. Alongside this, you'll also gain exposure to accounts work, providing variety and the opportunity to continue developing your technical and commercial skills.

You'll play an important role within the wider team, working closely with experienced Partners and having the autonomy to influence processes, support clients and contribute to the continued growth of the practice.

Experience Needed

  • Previous experience working within UK accountancy practice
  • Strong audit background with experience managing end-to-end audit assignments
  • Experience working with SMEs, owner-managed businesses and larger corporate clients
  • ACA/ACCA qualified or equivalent experience
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to build trusted client relationships
  • Experience mentoring and supporting junior members of a team
