At the NSPCC, we are committed to preventing child abuse and ensuring every child can grow up safe and supported. As part of our NSPCC Sport team, you will help strengthen safeguarding standards across sport, supporting our strategic ambition to make children safer in and through sport while promoting a culture where children's welfare is everyone's responsibility.

About the Role

As a Senior Auditor within NSPCC Sport, you will lead and deliver safeguarding audits, consultancy and quality assurance activity across a range of sports organisations and professional clubs. You will manage complex projects, produce high-quality reports and recommendations, build relationships with senior stakeholders, and provide line management support to a team of auditors.

Requirements

We are looking for an experienced safeguarding professional with a strong background in safeguarding audits or assessments within sport or physical activity environments. You will have:

  • Significant direct child protection experience and a strong understanding of current safeguarding issues affecting children in sport
  • Experience of managing complex consultancy or audit projects and delivering high-quality outcomes
  • Excellent communication, influencing and relationship-management skills, including working with senior leaders and decision-makers
  • Strong analytical, report-writing and quality assurance skills
  • Experience of supporting, line managing or quality assuring the work of others
