Maidstone, Kent | Also Commutable from Tunbridge Wells, Ashford, Canterbury, Rochester, Chatham, Sevenoaks and Sittingbourne | ACA / ACCA Qualified | Newly Qualified to 2 Years PQE
Pro Finance is working with one of Kent's and the UK's most established and highly regarded accountancy practices to recruit an Audit Senior / Audit Assistant Manager for its expanding Corporate Audit team.
This opportunity would suit a newly qualified ACA or ACCA auditor, or someone with up to two years' post-qualified experience, who is looking to accelerate their career within a growing and ambitious firm. The team acts for an impressive portfolio of owner-managed businesses, large corporate groups and AIM-listed companies, providing exposure to some of the largest and most technically challenging organisations in Kent and the South East.
With the Maidstone office continuing to experience significant growth, there are genuine opportunities for progression and increased responsibility in the coming years. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates currently working in smaller or mid-sized firms who want exposure to larger, more complex clients and a clearer route for career advancement.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
