Audit Senior
📍 Glasgow | Hybrid Working (40% Remote) | Full-Time | Permanent
Are you an experienced Audit Senior looking to join a firm where your career development is genuinely valued?
We're recruiting an ambitious Audit Senior to join a growing External Audit team in Glasgow.
Working with a diverse portfolio of clients across corporate, charities, education, housing associations and owner-managed businesses, you'll take ownership of audit assignments from planning through to completion while mentoring junior team members and building strong client relationships.
The Role
As an Audit Senior, you will:
- Lead external audit assignments from planning through to completion.
- Prepare statutory accounts and financial statements.
- Supervise, coach and review the work of junior auditors.
- Build trusted relationships with clients across a broad range of sectors.
- Attend client meetings and contribute to delivering high-quality audit services.
- Ensure compliance with UK auditing standards and firm methodologies.
- Support the development of trainees and junior members of the team.

About You
We're looking for someone who has:
- ACA, CA or ACCA qualification.
- Around 4–6 years' audit experience, including post-qualified experience.
- Experience leading audit engagements and reviewing junior staff.
- Strong knowledge of UK auditing and accounting standards.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- A proactive, organised and client-focused approach.
