Your expertise will be crucial in translating complex business needs into robust, scalable, and secure solutions, driving efficiency and unlocking new possibilities across our organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the full lifecycle technical delivery of complex automation solutions, from initial assessment and design through build, testing, transition, and continuous improvement.
  • Translate process designs, user stories, and non-functional requirements into maintainable solution designs and actionable delivery plans.
  • Drive the development of high-complexity solutions involving multiple systems, sensitive data, custom connectors, APIs, unattended automation, and agentic orchestration.
  • Champion engineering quality by leading peer reviews of code, configuration, solution architecture, and deployment artifacts.
  • Establish and enforce engineering standards for naming, source control, Application Lifecycle Management (ALM), Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD), and robust error handling.
  • Design and implement solutions adhering to approved environment, data loss prevention (DLP), security group, role-based access, and service-account patterns.
  • Collaborate with platform engineering and architecture teams to ensure environment readiness, connectivity, credentials, capacity, licensing, and production monitoring.
  • Embed Responsible AI controls into agentic solutions, ensuring grounding, permissions, guardrails, human escalation, content safety, auditability, and monitoring.
  • Design for supportability from the outset, including runbooks, operational handbooks, support models, Service Level Agreements (SLAs), monitoring, alerting, and comprehensive business/technical exception handling.
  • Lead deployment, smoke testing, production verification, and early life support fixes for assigned solutions.
  • Resolve escalated production defects and contribute to root-cause analysis, emergency changes, resilience improvements, and service reviews.
  • Foster a culture of reuse by creating and maintaining shared components, patterns, templates, APIs, starter kits, and engineering guidance; promote their adoption across teams.
  • Provide technical coaching, pairing, and constructive review for automation engineers, citizen developers, and delivery partners.
  • Contribute to communities of practice, technical training, and knowledge transfer, helping raise engineering consistency across the automation ecosystem.
  • Act as a trusted technical advisor to process analysts, product owners, business Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), architects, support teams, and suppliers.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
