Remote working (occasional travel to Corby)

What You Will Be Doing
As a Senior Automation Specialist within the GSBS Automation team, you will play a critical role in identifying, designing, and delivering automation solutions that drive efficiency and business value across the organisation.

You will:
- Identify and assess automation opportunities, recommending the most suitable solutions and technologies.
- Design, develop, and maintain automation solutions using platforms such as UiPath and Power Automate.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, IT teams, and process owners to gather requirements and deliver effective solutions.
- Provide technical guidance, support best practices, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Troubleshoot complex automation issues and ensure solutions remain scalable, reliable, and aligned with business objectives.
- Mentor developers and support the growth of the wider automation community.
What Skills and Experience We Are Looking For From You
- Proven experience delivering automation solutions in enterprise environments.
- Strong knowledge of automation platforms such as UiPath, Power Automate, Blue Prism, Automation Anywhere, or similar.
- Experience designing, building, and supporting automation solutions across the full delivery lifecycle.
- Understanding of APIs, system integrations, and related technologies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.
- Experience working with stakeholders across business and IT teams, including senior leaders.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and version control tools such as Git.
- Knowledge of AI, intelligent automation, or programming languages such as Python, C#, or JavaScript would be an advantage.
- Excellent communication skills and professional-level English.
