Synapri Automation Tester Opportunity

Synapri are looking to speak to Senior Automation Testers to join through a consultancy business for one of their key financial services customers on an initial 3 month contract. You will play a key role in delivering robust automated testing solutions for business-critical applications and data platforms.

⏰ Initial 3 months
🏢 Hybrid – 3 days onsite per week in London

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop and maintain automated test frameworks and scripts.
  • Execute functional, integration, regression, API, database and end-to-end testing.
  • Validate backend data and source-to-target data quality.
  • Identify defects, manage retesting and support production releases.
  • Work closely with developers, BAs and stakeholders across the SDLC.
  • Contribute to Agile ceremonies and continuous testing practices.

Essential Skills

  • Proven experience as a QA Automation Tester within an enterprise-scale Financial Services or Banking environment.
  • Strong expertise in both Java or C#, along with hands-on experience in Selenium and Playwright.
  • Strong hands-on experience with automation frameworks such as Selenium, Playwright, Cypress or equivalent.
  • Experience testing web applications, APIs and distributed systems.
  • Strong SQL skills with experience performing backend data validation.
  • Demonstrable experience building automation frameworks from scratch and enhancing existing frameworks.
  • Good understanding of CI/CD pipelines and automated test execution.
  • Experience with test and defect management tools such as JIRA, Azure DevOps, HP ALM or equivalent.
  • Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and the SDLC.
