Senior AV Warehouse Technician

Type: Permanent

Salary: Up to £38,000 per annum, depending on experience

Location: Uxbridge area

Working pattern: On-site

Our client is looking for an experienced Senior AV Warehouse Technician to join a busy professional audio visual equipment operation in the Uxbridge area.

Previous experience within the professional AV industry is important for this role. We are particularly interested in candidates who have worked within an AV equipment warehouse, technical production environment, equipment hire operation, or previously worked as an AV Technician.

This is a senior, hands-on warehouse position combining equipment preparation and logistics with responsibility for supporting and directing other members of the team.

The Role

You will help coordinate the movement, preparation, and return of professional AV equipment through the warehouse, making sure items are handled accurately and ready when required.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Receiving and checking returned equipment
  • Preparing outgoing orders
  • Maintaining accurate stock information
  • Supporting equipment quality checks
  • Helping to organize daily workloads
  • Providing direction to other warehouse colleagues
  • Supporting the training and development of less experienced team members

This remains a practical role, so you should expect to be directly involved with equipment preparation, loading and unloading, stock movement, and general warehouse activity rather than operating purely as a supervisor.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

What We Are Looking For

Previous experience working with professional audio visual equipment is strongly preferred and will be important for success in this position. Relevant backgrounds could include:

  • An AV equipment warehouse
  • Professional audio visual hire
  • Live events or technical production
  • Broadcast or staging environments
  • Previous work as an AV Technician with strong equipment knowledge

You should also have around three to five years' warehouse experience and be confident with:

  • Professional equipment handling and preparation
  • Stock control and order accuracy
  • Picking, checking, and staging equipment
  • Warehouse systems and accurate record keeping
  • Loading and unloading equipment safely
  • Coordinating workloads and supporting other team members

Previous experience supervising, guiding, or allocating work to other warehouse staff is important. Experience operating forklifts or other powered warehouse equipment is also required.

Good organizational skills, basic computer confidence, and the ability to remain accurate in a fast-moving environment are essential. Experience with a warehouse management system would be advantageous.

This could suit a Senior AV Warehouse Technician, AV Warehouse Team Leader, Senior Technical Warehouse Operative, AV Equipment Technician, or experienced AV Technician looking for a warehouse-based role with greater responsibility.
