Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

You'll lead and coordinate the internal project team in an organised, efficient way, building respectful and collaborative working relationships as you go. Our projects move fast, and deadlines are tight, so a calm, structured approach under pressure is essential.

What You Need To Succeed In This Role

  • At least 5 years' project management experience in AV, construction or technical delivery.
  • Extensive knowledge of AV technologies and systems integration processes.
  • A structured, proactive way of working with excellent planning, prioritisation and attention to detail, comfortable managing a demanding, multi-project workload to strict deadlines.
  • Strong commercial awareness, with the ability to create, read and negotiate contracts, schedules, budgets and project plans.
  • Highly numerate and comfortable working with complex data.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication in fluent English, with the confidence to be assertive when needed and to explain technical requirements clearly to non-technical audiences.
  • Knowledge of construction management and experience working with general contractors, architects and electrical contractors.
  • The ability to read, comprehend and redline CAD packages.
  • Strong IT skills: Excel, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint.
  • Awareness of health and safety policies and risk assessment processes, and a proactive approach to implementing both.
  • A team player who is equally comfortable acting independently, and who works in line with CT's core values: passion, integrity, innovation and a one-team approach.

Key Duties And Responsibilities

  • Own project requirements and objectives end to end: financial, technical, programme, construction and production coordination, materials, personnel and scopes of work.
  • Manage the commercial and contractual obligations of multiple concurrent projects, including schedules, budgets and staffing across in-house, contract and sub-contracted resources.
  • Manage change control, generating variation orders, securing client approvals, and adjusting schedule, scope and budget accordingly.
  • Own project documentation throughout delivery: Project Workbook, programme, RFIs, Early Warning Notices, Variations, Disruptive Work Notices and similar.
  • Communicate progress and status internally and to clients through regular project logs, reports and updates.
  • Define and manage project responsibilities using RACI matrices between internal and client teams.
  • Manage and communicate RAID (risks, actions, issues and dependencies) commercially and technically, both internally and with the client.
  • Collaborate across the wider internal delivery team:
    • Engineering — coordinate production and approval of engineering documentation and drawings ahead of site mobilisation
    • Admin — arrange resources, shipping, travel and accommodation for project teams
    • Sales & Procurement — ensure efficient ordering and budget management of equipment and consumables to project timescales
    • On-Site Install — prepare information, resources and tools ahead of rack builds and mobilisation, including H&S/RAMS, scopes of work and install packs
    • Commissioning — assist with the test and commissioning schedule, paperwork and client sign-off
  • Oversee site managers and installers, coordinate on-site training and administer client sign-off
  • Ensure final documentation (O&M manuals, as-built schematics, etc.) and contract close-out activities (project snagging activities) are completed promptly
  • Manage handover to the CT Service team.
  • Lead internal wash-up meetings to capture lessons learned for future projects.
  • Coordinate invoicing with the Sales team and support collection of accounts receivable, including final budget reconciliation as part of the project close-out.
  • Take on other responsibilities as projects demand or as directed by the Director of Systems Integration.
