Our client is a fast-growing travel technology company based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, helping individuals and businesses book flights and hotels seamlessly. Founded in 2017, the company is backed by leading investors, including Sanabil Investments (a PIF company), Elm, Artal Capital, and Alrajhi Partners, and is currently at the Series A stage.

About the Role

We are looking for a Senior, Aviation PMO & Business Transformation leader to partner directly with the CEO and drive strategic execution across the organization. This is a high-impact leadership role responsible for translating business strategy into measurable execution, ensuring cross-functional alignment, leading enterprise-wide transformation initiatives, and establishing a best-in-class PMO function. The role spans project and portfolio management, agile governance, business transformation, AI-driven process improvement, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner closely with the CEO to translate strategic priorities into clear execution plans, ownership, and timelines.
  • Establish and lead the PMO function, including governance frameworks, delivery standards, and reporting.
  • Manage the organization's portfolio of strategic initiatives, identifying dependencies, risks, and resource conflicts.
  • Own and evolve the Agile delivery framework, supporting Scrum Masters and monitoring delivery performance.
  • Lead cross-functional business transformation initiatives across Product, Engineering, Operations, Customer Success, HR, and Finance.
  • Drive AI adoption within PMO processes and operational workflows to improve efficiency and execution.
  • Oversee quality assurance, release readiness, and risk management across delivery teams.
  • Administer and optimize Jira, including workflows, configurations, dashboards, and integrations with tools such as Slack, GitHub, and Notion.
  • Mentor, manage, and develop Scrum Masters and PMO team members.

Requirements

  • 8–10+ years of experience in PMO, Project Management, Business Transformation, or Operational Leadership.
  • Strong background within the aviation, airline and travel technology
  • Proven experience leading business transformation, agile delivery, or operational improvement initiatives in technology-driven organizations.
  • Experience partnering with CEOs or senior executives and influencing cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated people management experience, including leading PMO teams, Scrum Masters, or Project Managers.
  • Strong hands-on expertise with Jira administration and workflow configuration.
  • Experience leveraging AI tools to improve project delivery and operational efficiency.
  • Comfortable working across geographically distributed and multicultural teams.
  • Previous consulting or advisory experience is a strong advantage.
