About Traveltek
For over two decades, Traveltek has been powering the booking platforms behind travel agents, tour operators, cruise lines and wholesalers around the world. We’re widely recognised as one of the world’s leading travel technology providers - and we’re still growing.
The role
Our Systems team keeps our global platform up and running 24/7. They work closely with development teams and a wide range of third-party partners to make sure our internal and external customers get the best possible service.
We’re looking for a Senior AWS DevOps Engineer to take a leading role in that team - owning and evolving our AWS hosting environment, driving our ambitious migration plans and raising the bar on automation, reliability and security. You’ll be a go-to technical voice in the team and help others grow along the way.
What you’ll be doing
- Designing, building and running secure, scalable AWS infrastructure in line with the AWS Well-Architected Framework
- Leading the technical delivery of our cloud migration work - from planning through to cutover
- Building and maintaining infrastructure as code with Terraform
- Owning and improving our CI/CD pipelines across AWS CodePipeline, CodeDeploy, CodeBuild, Jenkins and GitHub
- Automating anything that’s done more than twice
- Improving monitoring, alerting and incident response so we spot problems before our customers do
- Working with third-party providers and internal teams to keep the platform running smoothly
- Mentoring other engineers and sharing knowledge across the Systems team

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
