Senior AWS Solution Architect
A public sector organisation is seeking a Senior AWS Solution Architect to join via a Consultancy to provide architecture leadership on a strategic cloud-based occupancy data platform hosted within AWS.
The platform ingests and processes data from multiple sources, including WiFi, IoT sensors and wider property technology systems, generating operational insights whilst supporting future growth and innovation.
Working within a managed service environment, you will be responsible for defining the target architecture, driving technical strategy and ensuring solutions remain scalable, secure and resilient as new requirements and technologies emerge.
This is an excellent opportunity for a senior architecture professional who enjoys operating across both strategy and delivery, influencing stakeholders at all levels and guiding multidisciplinary teams in the development of modern cloud-native solutions.
This is an initial contract until May 2027 with potential to be extended, it is one day per week in the office in Central London with a daily rate of £660 per day Outside IR35. The successful candidate will need to already hold SC clearance and it will need to be transferred to the client.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
