Contract Length: 6 Months (with scope to extend)

Start Date: ASAP

IR35: Inside

Interview Process: 1 Stage, MS Teams

We are supporting a public sector client in hiring a Senior Azure Architect to act as Technical Oversight Lead across a high-profile Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365 cloud programme within the UK's critical national infrastructure sector.

This is a senior role combining hands-on coding with strategic architectural oversight, requiring someone who can set technical direction, govern design standards across the Azure and M365 estate and provide architectural assurance on major platform changes. The successful candidate will own the target-state Azure architecture and roadmap, chair architecture review points and represent the technical solution to senior client stakeholders throughout the engagement.

This role suits an accomplished Senior Azure Architect with genuine hands-on coding ability, deep M365 expertise, strong Microsoft Intune experience and the credibility to lead technical direction in a highly regulated, security-conscious environment.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
