We are looking for a Senior Azure Data Architect to join us as part of our team.
About the role
As an Enterprise Azure Data Architect, you will support a broad set of architectural needs across multiple workstreams. In this role, you will design and own the data layer behind GenAI, RAG, and Agentic AI applications, ensuring enterprise data and knowledge are effectively ingested, prepared, stored, governed, and made available for AI consumption and retrieval.

As a qualified expert, you will
- Own and design the data architecture, data modeling, ingestion, and platform modernization for enterprise Azure environments.
- Design the data layer supporting GenAI, RAG, and Agentic AI applications, including how enterprise data and knowledge are ingested, prepared, stored, governed, and made available for retrieval and AI consumption.
- Design and implement scalable, metadata/configuration-driven data ingestion and data platform solutions.
- Work with both structured and genuinely unstructured data across the enterprise platform.
- Modernize existing data platforms and ensure implementation-ready architecture.

We're looking for you if you have
- Strong background in enterprise Azure Data Architecture with proven depth in Azure Cosmos DB and Azure Synapse Analytics.
- Real production project experience designing or contributing to the data/knowledge layer supporting GenAI, RAG, or Agentic AI applications.
- Demonstrated personal ownership of the data/knowledge architecture behind a production RAG/Agentic application (including data preparation for retrieval and vector-search/storage technology selection).
- Hands-on experience with Azure Data Platform technologies, including Azure Synapse Analytics (with specific experience designing/working with its capabilities), Azure Databricks, Azure SQL MI / SQL Server / T-SQL, Azure Data Lake / Lakehouse architecture, and Azure Functions.
- Experience in data modeling, ingestion pipelines, and modernizing existing data platforms.
- Hands-on experience handling structured and genuinely unstructured data.
- Proven ability to design scalable, metadata/configuration-driven ingestion architectures.
