About the Project

We are building an investment app with international operations, currently in the MVP implementation phase. The product is already defined — screens, flows, and business rules are ready — and we are looking for the person who will build the back-end from scratch and connect it to the app's financial infrastructure.

At the heart of the role is the integration with an MPC wallet provider's API, which powers user deposit and withdrawal flows, alongside complementary integrations (KYC, notifications, internal dashboards). Product details are shared under NDA after the initial screening.

Responsibilities

  • Architect and build the app's back-end: REST APIs, authentication, accounts, balances, portfolio, and orders.
  • Integrate the MPC wallet provider's API: per-user wallet and address creation, deposits, withdrawals, address allow-listing, and transaction policies.
  • Consume and handle transaction-confirmation webhooks with idempotency, retries, and automatic reconciliation.
  • Model the internal double-entry ledger that keeps balances and movements consistent.
  • Implement complementary integrations: KYC/AML provider, push/e-mail notifications, and endpoints for the admin dashboard.
  • Own the security of the integration layer: secrets and API-key management, request signing, rate limiting, and audit logs.
  • Maintain observability (structured logs, metrics, alerts), automated tests, and CI/CD.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
