Your Responsibilities

  • Participating in shaping Verda’s IAM platform evolves and how it stretches through our diverse product portfolio.
  • Work on large-scale resource planning systems and internal tooling, possibility to contribute to codebase across multiple services and products.
  • Work closely with SRE engineers and data center team to build APIs for fast and robust resource provisioning.
  • Participate in improving the CI/CD pipelines, test coverage and deployments.
  • Pay close attention to information security principles, and use them to drive engineering decisions.
  • Communicate with internal team leads and other stakeholders.

Your Key Competencies

  • 3-5 years of experience as a Back-end engineer.
  • Strong knowledge of IAM and related technologies, including OAuth 2.0/2.1, OIDC, SAML 2.0, JWT, RBAC, ReBAC, MFA, TOTP, Passkeys and FIDO2. Experience with Workload/machine identities or service accounts is a plus.
  • Proficiency with Go, including web APIs, concurrency, performance optimization and caching.
  • Experience with TypeScript (we use Node & React).
  • Experience with designing, building, and maintaining micro-service architectures and workflows.
  • Proficiency in working with SQL databases and designing scalable data models, including familiarity with Go database tooling.
  • Experience with maintaining public RESTful APIs.
  • TDD-based way of working, working with testcontainers-like test setups rather than mocking with interfaces.
  • Familiarity with Kubernetes and DevOps practices is a plus.

Practicalities

  • Hybrid mode: This role requires presence in our Helsinki or London office 3 days per week.
  • Employment type: Full-time and permanent.
