About Dex

Dex is an AI recruiter agent that helps you run your job search. Tell Dex your stack, seniority, and what you want to build. We will manage your applications and surface other opportunities that are a fit.

The Role

This company builds an AI workspace for sensitive financial data, serving some of the world's largest regulated institutions. Think workloads where SOC 2, GDPR, and FCA compliance aren't just buzzwords, but fundamental to the product. They've secured significant Series A funding from leading investors and are scaling fast.

You'll join a lean, senior backend team, reporting directly to the founders, at the intersection of AI and finance. This is a staff-track IC seat with visible influence, architecting core services and data pipelines. It's for an engineer who wants to own critical systems end-to-end, not just maintain a small component of a larger platform.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
