Senior Business Development Representative (BDR)

Structured Pathway to Business Development Manager

£37,000-£38,000 Basic + Bonus

Working Hours:
Monday to Thursday 8:00am-4:30pm | Friday 7:30am-4:00pm

Are you a high-performing Business Development Representative, SDR, Lead Generator or Appointment Setter looking for the next step in your sales career? Do you want to work for a growing business that offers genuine progression, structured development and a clear pathway into a Business Development Manager role? We're recruiting for an ambitious and expanding organisation that works with clients across a broad range of sectors, helping them improve operational performance, increase efficiency and achieve key business objectives.

This is not a standard BDR role.

The business has developed a clear and structured two-year progression plan designed to bridge the gap between Business Development and Business Development Management. Rather than being expected to make an immediate jump into a closing role, you'll have the opportunity to build the commercial, consultative and strategic skills needed to become a successful Business Development Manager.

The Opportunity

Over the next two years, you'll continue to excel in opportunity generation while gaining hands-on exposure to the full sales cycle.

  • Work closely with experienced Business Development Managers
  • Shadow customer meetings, site visits, solution presentations and commercial discussions
  • Develop advanced discovery, qualification and opportunity management skills

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
