Are you fascinated by human culture and behaviour? Are you a strategic thinker with a passion for brands, innovation, and consumer behaviour? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you as a Senior Behavioural Analyst in London.
This is an opportunity to join a dynamic, close-knit team focused on revealing the “why” behind consumer behaviour. You'll be leading exciting projects, collaborating with brilliant people, and delivering impact for clients like Nike, Google, Lego, Mindshare, and Universal Music. If you're smart, nice, open-minded, and passionate about people and business, we want to meet you!
About Us
We are Canvas8, a strategic insights practice with offices in London, NYC, LA, Singapore, and Manila. We help our clients understand people so they can make better business decisions.
Our work investigates the hidden insights in everyday life – from the psychology behind the rise of absurdism in media, and teenagers’ obsession with romantasy and fan fiction, to why AI companions are becoming Gen Z’s go-to besties – and makes them meaningful for brands. Our team is a blend of disciplines and skills, from psychology to journalism and anthropology to behavioural economics. What unites us is a desire to understand people and a passion for delivering outstanding work.
About the Role
This role is for a remarkable Senior Behavioural Analyst with 4+ years of relevant experience. You will be responsible for pioneering and leading innovative research and analysis across consultancy projects and through the Canvas8 Membership.
As part of the Consultancy team, you’ll be researching cultural, social, and technological shifts as well as changes in industry. The research is incredibly varied. One day you might be speaking to a scientist about the psychology of doom scrolling, the next you might be pouring over data to discover why teenagers have stopped playing sports.
You should have ambition, drive, be personable, and willing to get stuck in – leading strategic research projects, conducting analysis to solve client challenges, managing timelines and budgets, workshopping findings, designing deliverables, and debriefing clients.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
