Senior Benefits Advisor
My client, an award-winning law firm, known for investing in and developing its people, is looking to hire a Senior Benefits Advisor into their wider HR team on a permanent basis.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Benefits professional to join a highly respected HR function and play a key role in shaping and delivering a market-leading benefits offering across a global workforce. Working closely with the Senior Reward & Benefits Manager, you will take ownership of benefits administration, vendor management, employee wellbeing initiatives and benefits benchmarking, whilst also gaining exposure to wider reward activities.
The firm is open to both full-time and part-time applicants (minimum four days per week) and offers a flexible, hybrid working environment.
As Senior Benefits Advisor, you will support the development and delivery of the firm's global benefits strategy, ensuring employees have access to a competitive, well-managed and engaging benefits package. You'll work with a wide range of stakeholders, including HR, Finance, external providers and senior business leaders, whilst contributing to reward projects and broader people initiatives.
This role offers a unique opportunity to further develop your reward knowledge, with involvement in areas such as salary benchmarking, pay reviews and remuneration reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the day-to-day administration of UK and international benefits programmes.
- Act as the key escalation point for complex employee and partner benefits queries.
- Coordinate annual benefits renewals and support negotiations with insurers and benefits providers.
- Ensure benefit records and employee data are accurately maintained.
- Support the ongoing enhancement of benefits processes, platforms and employee experience.
- Assist with the development and delivery of wellbeing, recognition and pension-related initiatives.
- Contribute to a variety of reward activities, including:
- Salary benchmarking
- Job evaluation and levelling
- Gender pay gap reporting
- Annual salary review processes
- Produce meaningful management information and analytics to support business decisions.
- Analyse market trends and benchmarking data, making recommendations for improvements to the firm's reward and benefits offering.
- Build effective relationships with external brokers, insurers and benefits providers.
- Partner closely with HR colleagues to provide expert advice and guidance on benefits-related matters.
- Work collaboratively with Finance teams to manage benefits spend and reporting requirements.
- Support employee communications and engagement initiatives in partnership with internal communications teams.
- Develop trusted relationships with stakeholders across all levels of the business.
- Monitor market trends and competitor offerings to ensure the firm's benefits package remains attractive and competitive.
- Keep up to date with relevant legislation and compliance requirements impacting employee benefits.
- Support the delivery of compliant and commercially focused benefits programmes across multiple jurisdictions.

Requirements:
The successful candidate will be an experienced Benefits professional with strong analytical skills, excellent stakeholder management capabilities and a genuine passion for delivering an exceptional employee experience. You'll possess:
- Proven experience within a Benefits, Reward or Compensation & Benefits role, ideally within a professional services environment.
- Strong understanding of employee benefits programmes and related legislation.
- Experience working with HR systems and benefits administration platforms.
- The ability to analyse data, identify trends and make evidence-based recommendations.
- Advanced Excel skills and confidence working with large datasets.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- Experience influencing stakeholders and presenting recommendations with confidence.
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
- A proactive and solution-focused approach to problem solving.
- International benefits experience.
- Exposure to reward activities, including salary benchmarking, pay reviews and job evaluation.
- Experience working with flexible benefits platforms and employee recognition programmes.
- Knowledge of pensions and wider financial wellbeing initiatives.
- Professional qualifications such as CEBS, CIPD or similar.
- Experience within legal or professional services organisations.
