About The Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Business Intelligence (BI) Analyst to join our Midlands-based client’s dynamic team. This role is pivotal in supporting the company's BI and Management Information (MI) initiatives by designing, developing, and implementing advanced BI solutions. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with key business functions to understand their data needs and translate these into effective analytical tools and dashboards. Utilizing PowerBI, Azure cloud environments, and Microsoft Fabric, you will contribute significantly to the development of the company's data platform, enabling data-driven decision-making at all levels of the organization. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work with modern technologies in a flexible working environment, supporting strategic business growth through insightful data analysis.

Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in Business Intelligence and data analysis, with a proven track record of delivering BI solutions in a corporate environment. Essential qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field. Advanced knowledge of PowerBI, Azure data services, and Microsoft Fabric is required. Experience with SQL, data modeling, and ETL processes is also essential. Candidates should demonstrate excellent analytical skills, strong problem-solving abilities, and the ability to communicate complex data insights clearly to non-technical stakeholders. Prior experience working in a collaborative team environment and managing multiple projects simultaneously is highly desirable.
Responsibilities
- Designing and developing comprehensive BI solutions that meet the evolving needs of the business
- Analyzing business requirements
- Creating data models
- Developing interactive dashboards and reports using PowerBI
- Working within Azure environments to build scalable and secure data pipelines, ensuring data quality and integrity
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, provide insights, and support strategic decision-making
- Maintaining and optimizing existing BI solutions
- Troubleshooting issues
- Implementing best practices for data governance and security
- Mentoring junior team members
- Contributing to the continuous improvement of BI processes and tools
