Senior BI Developer

6 Months | Outside IR35 | £450-500pd | London (1-2 Days per Week) | Immediate Start

THE COMPANY

A leading consulting organisation is seeking a Senior BI Developer to support a major Finance BI transformation programme centred around Microsoft Fabric, Power BI and enterprise data warehousing.

THE ROLE

You'll be responsible for developing and enhancing finance reporting solutions, working closely with Business Analysts, Architects and stakeholders to deliver key reporting initiatives across Revenue Recognition, Working Capital and Margin Reporting.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and maintain data warehouse solutions and semantic models
  • Design and build Power BI reports and dashboards
  • Develop and optimise Microsoft Fabric solutions
  • Build, test and maintain ETL pipelines using SQL and SSIS
  • Develop and optimise SSAS Cubes and Tabular Models
  • Support BI performance tuning and optimisation
  • Contribute to CI/CD and deployment processes
  • Maintain technical documentation within Azure DevOps

Essential

  • Strong Power BI development experience
  • Proven Microsoft Fabric implementation experience
  • Strong SQL Server and T-SQL skills
  • Experience with SSIS, ETL and data integration
  • Strong SSAS Cube and Tabular Model experience
  • Data Warehousing and Data Modelling expertise
  • Experience with SSDT, Visual Studio and Azure DevOps
  • Experience with BI CI/CD and deployment processes
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills
