Senior Bid Manager | UK | Major Infrastructure | Work Winning
I'm working with a leading Tier 1 infrastructure contractor that is looking to appoint an experienced Senior Bid Manager to join its Work Winning team.
This is a senior role for someone who can take ownership of complex, high-value bids and bring together technical, operational and commercial teams to develop compelling solutions that ultimately win work.
You'll have real influence over the bid strategy, working closely with senior leadership and client stakeholders while helping shape some of the UK's most important water and infrastructure projects.
The role
- Lead major and strategically important bids from opportunity through to submission
- Develop and implement effective bid strategies
- Take ownership of the overall bid programme, governance and submission
- Lead multi-disciplinary teams across technical, operational and commercial functions
- Work closely with senior leadership and key stakeholders
- Develop compelling, compliant and commercially focused proposals
- Challenge and influence solutions to maximise win potential
- Manage multiple complex bids and competing deadlines
- Support the wider Work Winning team and contribute to continuous improvement

What they're looking for
- Strong Bid Management / Work Winning experience within a Tier 1 contractor
- Experience leading complex, high-value construction or infrastructure bids
- Strong understanding of construction and civil engineering
- Water sector experience would be highly advantageous
- Excellent strategic, written and verbal communication skills
- Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders
- Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills
- Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- AMPM accreditation at Foundation, Practitioner or Professional level - or willingness to achieve it
