The role
This is an exciting 12-month secondment opportunity within the Standard Life Workplace business, offering the chance to play a key role in shaping the future of our Bid Management and New Business Support function.
As a Senior Bid Manager within Enablement, you'll combine your bid expertise, project management skills and commercial insight to help drive continuous improvement across the team. Working closely with colleagues across Workplace and Distribution, you'll support the delivery of live bids and surveys while leading initiatives that enhance our processes, technology, content and ways of working.
This is a varied and highly visible role, providing the opportunity to influence change, champion innovation and help deliver solutions that improve efficiency, strengthen our proposition and support future business growth. You'll collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders, helping to create the tools, content and capabilities that enable our teams to successfully retain existing clients and win new business opportunities.
What are we looking for?
- Extensive Workplace Pensions and Bid Management expertise, with a strong understanding of the adviser and corporate pensions market.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to develop high-quality bids, presentations and client-facing collateral.
- Demonstrable experience delivering process improvements, new technologies and innovative solutions that drive efficiency and enhance outcomes.
- Strong influencing, collaboration and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build effective relationships across all levels of the business.
- A highly motivated and adaptable professional with excellent project management skills, commercial awareness and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
