Who we are

Headquartered in Singapore, SATS Ltd. is one of the world’s largest providers of air cargo handling services and Asia’s leading airline caterer. SATS Gateway Services provides airfreight and ground handling services including passenger services, ramp and baggage handling, aviation security services, aircraft cleaning and aviation laundry. SATS Food Solutions serves airlines, institutions, and operates central kitchens with large-scale food production and distribution capabilities for a wide range of cuisines. SATS is present in the Asia-Pacific, the Americas, Europe, the Middle East and Africa, powering an interconnected world of trade, travel and taste. Following the acquisition of Worldwide Flight Services (WFS) in 2023, the combined SATS and WFS network operates over 215 stations in 27 countries. These cover trade routes responsible for more than 50% of global air cargo volume. SATS has been listed on the Singapore Exchange since May 2000. For more information, please visit www.sats.com.sg

The Role

The Senior Bid Manager will establish and build a new deal and bid management capability for SATS, acting as the central orchestrator for complex RFPs and tenders across EMEA and North America, with support to APAC as required. Based in the UK, the role will work closely with Sales, Pricing, Legal, Service Delivery and other teams across the business to coordinate the end-to-end bid process and ensure we develop high-quality, commercially sound and deliverable proposals.

This is an exciting opportunity to shape a new capability and play a key role in how SATS approaches and delivers its deals globally. The Senior Bid Manager will bring structure and organisation to a developing function, establishing effective processes, tools and ways of working while remaining adaptable as the business evolves. This is a highly hands-on role requiring a proactive self-starter who can work autonomously while also thinking strategically, with an AI-first mindset to identify smarter and more efficient ways of working and continuously improve the deal and bid process.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

Key Responsibilities

RFP orchestration & qualification:

  • Own the RFP intake register and the qualification gate: scope, win-odds and capacity assessment; resource allocation proposal to GAD / Head, Global Key Accounts
  • Build and run the end-to-end bid plan: cadences, stage gates, task delegation and deadline enforcement across all workstreams
  • Organise the mandatory RFP strategy kick-off; prepare gate packs — GAD / HGKA decides at every gate

SGHA, SLA & contract alignment:

  • Build and maintain the global SGHA clause library and deviation register
  • Issue the global SGHA baseline per RFP; consolidate regional mark-ups (EMEA capability, Americas contract team, APAC Commercial) into one position for GAD negotiation
  • Coordinate SLAs with Service Delivery — secure the internal 'can we deliver this' sign-off before commitments go to the customer; run SGHA and SLA as one negotiation track
  • Co-ordination with Group Legal on SATS standard terms.
  • Route material SGHA / SLA deviations to the Pricing Manager for pro-forma impact; track contract signatures through to completion
