Senior Bids Executive
An ambitious and highly regarded international law firm is looking to appoint a Senior Bids Executive to support its continued growth. Working as part of a collaborative Business Development and Marketing team, you will play a key role in securing new business opportunities across multiple practice groups and sectors.
This is a strategic and hands-on role focused on managing high-value bids, panel appointments and complex proposal opportunities. You will work closely with partners and senior stakeholders to develop persuasive submissions that showcase the firm's strengths and differentiate it in a competitive market.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the preparation and delivery of bids, proposals, tenders, panel pitches, and RFP responses.
- Manage bid timelines, stakeholder engagement, and content development to ensure successful submissions.
- Work closely with partners and business development teams to develop winning strategies and compelling messaging.
- Draft, review, and edit high-quality proposal content tailored to client requirements.
- Coordinate cross-practice and cross-office responses for complex opportunities.
- Analyze client and competitor intelligence to strengthen bid strategies and positioning.
- Maintain and enhance the firm's bid content library, credentials database, and best practice materials.
- Track bid outcomes and deliver post-submission reviews to identify areas for continuous improvement.

- Experience managing bids, proposals, or pursuits within a law firm or professional services environment.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple complex opportunities simultaneously.
- Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Confidence working directly with partners and senior stakeholders.
- Commercially aware with a strong understanding of business development principles.
- Experience responding to formal tender processes, panel reviews, and strategic pitch opportunities.
